Ten points about school bus accidents in Haryana are as follows:

The first investigation found that the bus overturned in Kanina town while passing a car. Seema Trikha, the minister of education for Haryana, departed for Mahendragarh.

News agency ANI was informed by one of the injured pupils that the driver was drunk. He claimed that because the driver was drunk, he kept a speed of 120 kmph, which caused misbalancing.

Twenty children were taken to the hospital, according to Dr. Ravi Kaushik of Nihal Hospital. After receiving first assistance, many of them were referred to the government hospital.

According to SP  Arsh Verma, a medical investigation is being carried out by the doctors to determine whether or not the bus driver was intoxicated. We're also looking over the bus's paperwork. To address their responsibilities, he said, the school administration has not yet been approached.

The incident happened on Thursday morning close to Unhani village in Mahendergarh, Haryana, according to reports. Even though Eid-ul-Fitr was a holiday, the school was open.

The pupils were GL Public School students. The private bus carried close to thirty students.

In 2018, a senior police officer asserted that the bus's fitness certificate had expired six years prior.

Seema Trikha, the Haryana minister of education, stated that she had discussed visiting the hospital where the students are receiving treatment with the district commissioner and Mahendergarh SP.

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, expressed sorrow for the deaths of children. This school bus accident in Mahendragarh, Haryana, is incredibly tragic. My sympathies are with the families of the departed youngsters who are grieving. God grant them the fortitude to endure this grief. The injured youngsters are receiving support from the local government. He posted on X, "I hope they recover quickly."

The school's owner is BJP leader and former chairman of the Kanina Municipal Committee, Rajendra Lodha.
